Job Title: Barista/Allrounder

Job Summary: The Highland Weigh is seeking a Barista/Allrounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages, as well as providing exceptional customer service. This role will also include assisting other general duties as required.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the coffee bar, kitchen, and seating area
Assist with delivering orders to tables.
Perform general cleaning duties, including washing dishes and wiping down surfaces
Stock and replenish inventory as needed, including coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Participate in training and development opportunities as required.

Desirable:

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
