We are delighted to be working with our client who are a successful manufacturer based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit a full time Production Assistant.

The Production Assistant's Primary Objectives are to:

Support production planning and control
Ensure production documents and spreadsheets are kept up to date to customers and company specification
Process customer orders and raise product working instructions
Stock control
Raise purchase orders
Communicate with Production Office, Setting Staff/ Quality Inspectors and Warehouse Staff
Cover production during absences or holiday
Be confident and competent in using computer programmes- Microsoft 365 applications/ writing emails professionally
Using Pegasus Opera 3 software for stock control and order processing (in-house training will be given if no previous experience)
Assist colleagues within other areas of the business as the business needs require
To operate within and adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of the role
Ensure PPE is worn at the start of the shift and throughout
