Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a qualified, experienced dog trainer to deliver evening and weekend puppy and dog training services at our base in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, with the addition of behaviour work, if qualified and 1:1 training in the daytime. This post is to provide maternity leave cover from March for up to one year. However, if the successful person is able to grow the business to sustain both roles, the role could become permanent.

There is also the potential to work within our unique social enterprise during the day, delivering our accredited training programme in dog walking, training and daycare.

Applicants must have evidence of dog training qualifications and ideally be a member of a professional organisation such as the APDT or IMDT (or willing to work towards this) and therefore be committed to kind, fair and effective dog training methods.
