About us

Founded in the Perthshire town of Pitlochry, Scotland, Saorsa 1875 is the flagship hotel of Saorsa, a hospitality group committed to showcasing that the best experiences in life don’t have to come at the expense of animals or the environment. Saorsa is the first 100% vegan hotel in the UK.

Housed in a 19th-century baronial building, we have 11 guest bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, a snug, a beer garden, and a yoga yurt, all decorated with luxurious linens, bohemian styling, and antique furnishings. Everything in the hotel, from staff uniforms to the food we serve, is completely plant-based.

Responsibilities

We're looking for help with all aspects of running the hotel, including (but not limited to):

Housekeeping
Serving food and beverages to guests across breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Assisting with customer service queries via email and telephone
Helping serve drinks behind the bar

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be fluent in English
Must have the right to work in the UK
Must be able to work well within a small team
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance
Must be customer-orientated and friendly
Must be able to work quickly without compromising quality.
Must be comfortable with dogs. We’re a dog-friendly hotel so have a lot of ‘free-range’ dogs you are likely to encounter.
You do not need to be vegan, but we would like someone who is ‘plant-curious’.

Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour
