Maintenance Person for our care homes, initially based in Hedon and Bridlington

Previous experience of working in a maintenance role or very good handyman skills

Good knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations and compliance
Good Written and Verbal skills
Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft word and use of email
Physically fit and able lift light items of equipment and furniture
Able to use and maintain hand and power tools
Knowledge including, but not limited to basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating
Ability to be able to prioritise, respond and adopt a positive approach to work
Able to carry out some cleaning as directed
Able to work on and maintain external areas

You should be a clear and effective communicator and able to relate well to a variety of people such as residents, relatives and other staff. You will be self – motivated, tidy and be able manage, prioritise and work to deadlines.

Full and part time contract available.

Salary £12.25-£12.75 an hour dependent on experience
