Hotel Receptionist

Penally Abbey Hotel is a boutique hotel overlooking the sea in Penally village, just 5 minutes outside Tenby. It is family run and is home to 12 individually designed bedrooms and Rhosyn Restaurant.

In October 2022 we were very excited to have won the Cesar award for The Best Hotel in Wales by The Good Hotel Guide. So if you'd like to be part of our amazingly creative and friendly team then we would love to hear from you.

Rhosyn, our restaurant holds 2 AA rosettes and is also listed in the Michelin Guide

The ideal candidate would be extremely organised, personable and efficient.

This role is focused around providing a fantastic and friendly first impression to our guests and is all about providing great customer service. A successful candidate would need to love interacting, meeting and talking to new people and be a brilliant communicator.

This role requires great communication not just with the customer, but with the other teams within the hotel, from housekeeping to the kitchen team.

Requirements:

min 1-year experience working on reception in a hotel (or a similar customer-facing role)
Strong computer skills
Highly organised
Has a positive, friendly can do attitude
Very personable
A great team player who enjoys working with others
Good telephone manner
Happy and eager to support the rest of the team at Penally Abbey
Ready and willing to learn
Strong writing and English skills.

Desirable:

(Training will be provided on specific systems used here at the hotel)

Previous experience working in a boutique hotel and using booking systems.
Knowledge & experience using ResDiary

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday daytime shifts
8am - 5pm
28 days holiday
