The Club

The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Chef De Rang Waiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of the role in a similar environment and a friendly, customer-focused demeanour. We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five star service and thrives in a busy working environment where no two shifts are ever the same. The role is a full time position working 40 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays; last orders are at 9.30pm.

The main duties are:

To be involved in the day to day running of the Coffee Room, carrying out daily tasks for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Brief all waiting staff before each service to make sure all staff aware of all items on the menu and any special requests.
Explain dishes to members and guests
Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
