Oaktree Lodge in Clevedon are looking to recruit care assistants to work alongside other staff in meeting the needs of the residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

What you need:

Passion for caring for the elderly at a level that matches our standard of care.
A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference
The ability to provide person-centred care whilst maintaining respect and protecting client dignity.
Reliability, flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude
Good communication skills

Work will include:

Assisting service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
Assist service users with getting up and going to bed.
Encouraging people to be as independent as possible.
Weekend working
