Job Title: Caribbean Chef

Location: Dunstable

We are seeking a talented and experienced Caribbean Chef to join our team at our exciting new Caribbean restaurant. As a Caribbean Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and flavorful Caribbean dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Responsibilities:

Develop and design menus that showcase the diverse flavours of the Caribbean
Prepare and cook a range of Caribbean dishes, including jerk chicken, curries, seafood, and vegetarian options
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard
Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are cooked correctly
Monitor food costs and manage inventory levels
Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that customers receive a seamless dining experienceFollow all safety and health regulations

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Caribbean Chef
Excellent knowledge of Caribbean cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to create and develop innovative and authentic Caribbean menus
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
