CNC Machinist

Gloucester

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000, 25 days holiday + Banks, Buy/sell annual leave, Profit sharing annual bonus, Up to 8% matched pension

Are you a skilled machinist with experience in Aerospace/Automotive/Oil & Gas or Pharmaceutical manufacturing?

The Role:

Your main responsibilities include:

Carrying out different machining operations on CNC machinery
Work in a large machine shop on various machines
Be involved with continuous improvement to optimise work processes
Reading and working off production drawings
Experience using measuring equipment

The Candidate:

Essential:

Completed a Level 3 advanced apprenticeship of NVQ in machining (Can support you to complete if you don’t have one)
Experience on CNC machines (Setting, operating and programming)
Ability to read technical drawings
Milling and turning experience
Ability to set own tools
Understand Lean manufacturing technique
