Position Overview & Specifications

Our client is in the forex education industry, they are hiring for a finance assistant to help and work alongside the CFO. The finance assistant will be an active operator within a matrixed leadership structure.

Main responsibilities:

Issuing invoices and receipts to clients
Assisting with bookkeeping
Reporting to the CFO
Being in contact with colleagues across the world, making the job more enjoyable
Updating account information and records of clients

The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills:

Strong accounting knowledge and experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working at a technology or services-based firm.
Strong working knowledge of Xero is a must if not, experience in QuickBooks or other web-based accounting software may be an exception.
Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets, Google Sheets should be learnt within 3 months of hire if you are not familiar with it already
Comfortable using and learning new tools
Strong bookkeeping experience is a must, high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are need
