Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a full time Bottling and Warehouse Technician to join our team at our new cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On-site training will be provided and progression opportunities will be forthcoming as the business grows.

Salary: Base Salary of £26,500.

Location – Glenrothes (onsite)

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift.

Key Responsibilities

Filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision
Cask warehouse operations such as re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection.
To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
Stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods
Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Management of a busy warehouse to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs through use of a forklift
Responsible for the management of goods incoming and out
Responsible for completion of the HACCPP folder – daily entry

Skillset

Technical and hands-on practical ability
Relevant forklift experience is preferable
Self-motivated – ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
Ability to cope with change in a growing business

Personal Requirements

Experience in a warehousing environment
Experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred
UK Driver’s license
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums
