We at ABP York are looking for new members to join our Abattoir team.

You will be given the opportunity to upskill and learn multiple roles within the abattoir.

Shackling
Sticking & bleeding
Rodding
Head removal, tongue removal
Legging
Flanking
Hide removal
Evisceration & removal of red offal
Saw / splitting of carcase
Removal of all S.R.M.
Trimming (four stages) to management specification
Adhere to Company Hygiene practices & safe food production.
To comply with Health & Safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents
To be a valued member of the slaughter team and have consideration for all colleagues in the plant.
To participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan
Attend appropriate team meetings as required by the manager
Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar type of role and be suited to working in a fast paced environment. The candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
