Role: Internal Account Manager

Type: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Salary: up to £35,000

Duties:

Manage key accounts on a day-to-day basis ensuring excellent customer service
To build and develop long term relationships with designated key customers, via telephone, video call and occasional visits
To manage, review and fulfil the requirements of customer SLA’s & contractual agreements
To maintain an accurate working understanding and knowledge base of customers’ business to aid commercial decision making, including the maintenance of customer records
To maximise margin, net profit and internal efficiency.
To liaise with Sales Office Manager or Sales Director on any issues or opportunities with your customer base.
To liaise with the purchasing team to order and manage customer specific stocks.
To ensure accounts trade within current agreed credit limits.
To manage special stocks and ensure necessary stock turn.
To respond to customer enquiries professionally, promptly, accurately and in-line with commercial policies.

Experience:

A proven track record of achieving sales targets within an engineering services sales environment
Broad commercial and industry awareness
Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base
Excellent communication skills – internal and external
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
